Located in Encinitas, this project is a ground-up custom modern residence designed to emphasize architectural design, material expression, and seamless indoor-outdoor living. 

The home is constructed with cast-in-place concrete, creating a strong architectural presence while providing durability and thermal performance appropriate for the coastal residence environment. The design focuses on expansive living spaces that open directly to the outdoors through dramatic 18-foot-tall, 35-foot-wide sliding glass doors, allowing the interior to fully engage with the surrounding landscape and natural light. 

Interior spaces feature radiant heated floors and an open spatial layout that supports both everyday living and entertaining. The restrained material palette and clean modern lines highlight the structural clarity of the architecture while maintaining a warm and livable environment. 

The project also includes a detached accessory dwelling unit (ADU) constructed from cast-in-place concrete to complement the primary Encinitas custom modern home. The ADU incorporates a rooftop garden, creating an elevated outdoor space that enhances privacy while providing additional usable landscape within the site. 

Together, the main residence and ADU form a cohesive modern compound that reflects the coastal lifestyle and architectural character of Encinitas.
